After four years, Anetha’s label Mama Told Ya comes full circle with the fourth and final instalment of the compilation series featuring the four elements. That basically one every year, and during this time Mama Told Ya has blown up, become an agency and its creators (like Vel) have gone on to individual success. Ils s’embrasèrent, réduits ensemble is the fire-themed 19-track compilation that is now available as a 4x 12” box.
Opening the record, you’ll find Anetha’s own edit of Vive la Fête’s 2003 classic “Nuit blanche” (who thought electroclash would ever be cool again?). The set also includes some of the contemporary underground’s best producers: Spiderwrap, Cunt Remember, Trillosta, Oton as well new semi stars Olympe4000, Sole Dosi (pictured) and Alpha Tracks.
