Amerol is a new Perth punk group including Ashley Ramsey who was the vocalist of Cold Meat and drummer of Debbie Downers. Jay Hell from Exit Group is on the drums and the bass player is Morgin from Sooks, who released a fine hardcore album last year. Amerol’s first demo tape came out yesterday on local institution Helta Skelta. These 6 tracks leave us gasping for more, so I hope they keep it up. ”Life is shit and Amerol wades through the stench” and I wonder if that’s a reference to the medication of the same name?
