Womb on Flying Nun

I sadly don’t feel as much in touch with New Zealand bands and artists and before, but I feel like one group that has been consistently great is Womb. While they are definitely taking the 2010s sound of groups like Blouse and others who adored Mazzy Star, they’ve added something fresh to each album. One Is Always Heading Somewhere is no exception, with its polished dreampop production. And the songwriting is stellar and definitely worth of being on Flying Nun – a label that still stands for ‘no comprise’ all these years later. The 12-track LP came out March 7.
