This month’s Apple Turnover playlist is yet another Grauzone byproduct, in the sense that it’s full of coldwave and dark dance music. Kicking things off is a new single from Turkish duo Ductape who are touring now – even playing with She Past Away in a small Copenhagen suburb. Charlie Osborne from London also just played in Copenhagen, thanks to Real Live.
There’s some bits and pieces from Pol (who played Grauzone again this year), Veil of Light, Tout Debord, Lys Morke, Karl Kave and Blanche Biau (whom I almost mest at Grauzone). Also past Grauzone performers like SDH and Kælan Mikla are included with new music. The SDH track is one of my favourites so far of this brief stretch of 2025.
Valerie Ace, Rebekah, Panternoise, Might Be Twins, Buffalo In Crime, Kilbourne, Phosphorrgirl and DJ Fuckoff provide some more electronic elements. There’s also a comeback single by Linea Aspera from last year that I totally missed.
