Severin Black’s label Archaic Vaults returns with a fourth volume of Continuing a Worn Out Tradition. The last one came out in 2023 and on February 21 it’s time for another limited 12” – this time with 10 tracks from artist from around the globe. I’m most excited about the ambient pieces by Dania and Slowfoam (pictured). Founder Black also appears along with Zeynep Ağcabay, and they’re the only ones already on the roster. Alexandra Gruebler (previously Baal & Mortimer) and Laurén Maria are both based in Berlin.
All digital and physical proceeds go towards Medical Aid For Palestinians and the Lebanese Red Cross.
