Well, this split 12” is far from hot off the press (coming out in May 2024), but it’s worth mentioning because the Polish/Swedish/German punk group Urin are actually coming to Sweden to play the Intonal festival in April.
Just like Urin, S.A.T.I.N. are based in Berlin and consists of Ireen Amnes and Ash Luk (pictured). Luk used to be a part of Minimal Violence (and the sole member towards the end) but is now performing solo as Infinity Division. Their first album is coming soon, but more about that later. Ireen Amnes has appeared on our site before and released her most recent EP in October.
Mere Desire Is Not Enough, which is still available from the Berlin label Never Sleep, is a favourable meeting between two uncompromising groups with its 7 tracks ranging from hardcore punk to power electronics.
