Upsammy has a new EP out on Dekmantel in March, called Open Catalyst. This 4-track 12” is a part of the label’s UFO series, which returns in 2025. In their own words, it’s ”capturing the energy of the UFO stages which indulge Dekmantel Festival’s darker, experimental tastes”. I loved the Bend EP from 2021 and this one is similarly aimed for the dancefloor. Listen to the opening track ”Relict” below.
