Corps Diplomatique was a French coldwave group made up of Olivier Aubin, Marie-Eve Bensussan and Patrick Loubet and Nicolas Pélissie. Their legacy was a lone 45 that appeared on Milk Shake Records in 1988. Now Dark Entries have gathered a slew of recordings from 1984-1987 by the Marseilles group and packaged them as Dans ta nuit.
The 10-track retrospective is coming out February 7, heralded by ”Paradis I” which was the a-side of aforementioned single. Thee more tracks are culled from the legendary La Muse Vénale compilation from 1985. It’s hard to believe this reissue didn’t happen sooner. Apparently there’s a also a double-cd compilation on Infrastition that dropped a few months ago.
