CHARLIE (DE)
Charlie is a Berlin-based electronic artist hailing from the Polish city of Krakow. She ran her own clubnights under the name Szum which have been lately relocated to Berlin’s Sameheads. There she continues hosting her favourite artists and friends such as Marsman, Interstellar Funk, Italo Brutalo and more, uniting cold mutant electro with banging EBM and sparkling italo disco.
Behind the decks she has been smashing dancefloors for years, selecting an eclectic yet always driving mix drawing from the same influences. But as a skilled pianist, she was always drawn to creating her own music as well. She contributed to several projects for movies and performances, and over the years fleshed out a killer live show using analog synthesizers and machines, which she presents at such festivals as Grauzone, Unsound, and Ombra International.
