Kagami Smile is a name that has cropped up a lot for me in 2024, not the least due to their album for Magdalena’s Apathy. Apart from Gathered At the Sleep Juncture about four other albums also came out in the same year. The prolific producer behind the name is American, Shenzhen-based Ryan Hill. On January 24 his new album Lifeless is coming out on Opal Tapes and you can listen to a couple of tracks below, ranging from beautiful ambient to lofi broken beats.
