Inscrutable Records, based in St. Louis, Missouri, have released a compilation tape to kickstart the new year. Star Charms contains contributions from label boss Martin Meyer’s own post-Lumpy group Soup Activists, as well as Answering Machines from Chicago and Indianapolis talents Good Flying Birds (pictured). They’ve got three tracks each on the cassette and last weekend they did a bunch of shows in all three cities.
