Nick Klein is an American artist and promoter perhaps best known for running Psychic Liberation. Based in Berlin, it’s been several years since he released new music, but it happened a few days prior to Christmas. The quadruple cassette box set called Rathaus was released on Berlin label Total Black. It includes 8 tracks of varying sonic textures – from ambient to industrial to electro-acoustic to samples.
The same day Total Black also released the cd Subdecadence by Klein’s duo project with Matt Boettke of Scant. The project is called Double Black Diamond and is also well worth checking out.
