Here is the second part of our end-of-year list for 2024. This time we continue to explore the best releases in postpunk, punk, synth and other experimental genres, but with a focus on longplayers. There have been many, especially since fewer and fewer artists opt to release singles or EPs. It has been a great year for shoegaze, with Mo Dotti and Smush releasing our favourite LPs. Also ambient releases have been excellent, with Slowfoam, Man Rei and Drumloop impressing us wildly. But sadly none of these LPs made the list. Who is actually on the list then?
