I only stumbled over this release by chance, but it’s a pretty much perfect shoegaze album from the pens of Emily Borrowman and Atley King. A couple from Vancouver, they started writing music while in New York (maybe that’s why bandcamp has their location down as Brooklyn) and recorded the 12-track LP If You Were Here I’d Be Home Now together with drummer Jay Christie. There’s a great interview with them on UCLA Radio. It came out in June, on vinyl via Softseed and tape via Candlepin Records.
