Los Angeles label L.A.U.R.A. has remained fairly quiet this year, but just in time for the holidays they announced Coiled Strength – a new EP from local talent Light Trap. They released a tape on Spektator two years ago, as well as a split with Strait Jacket on L.A.U.R.A. but I still haven’t been able to figure out who it is. Discogs lists about 20 other aliases for Light Trap, one of which is James Miller who has been in different bands since the late 90s and was a part of the Digital Vomit collective.
