Magdalena’s Apathy have released a new compilation here at the edges of the year, and they also have a Berlin event planned for January (at Fitzroy) with the lineup still to be announced. As usual, they’ve dug deep to bring you these 14 tracks. I only recognise a handful of names, like Copenhagen producer Alda Vain (of course) and Disto from Finland, who has appeared on a previous compilation from the label. And Comperi from Belgium released an EP for them earlier this year.
Swordsmith (pictured) from Buenos Aires sounds great and on Barbēlō’s track we get an appearance by Astytekk (under his Baxandal alias). Dig in and I’m sure you’ll find plenty to love.
