Festa del Perdono was formed by three members of the Milanese punk band Kobra. Employing a drum machine to keep the beat, they released their debut EP on La vida es un mus last summer and apparently it’s influenced by classic Italian punk bands but what do I know. I just know it’s a 5-track post-punk 7” with wide appeal and possible future status as a classic of its own. The Società Mentale EP is a strong debut statement from these seasoned players.
