Warm Currency is the duo of MP Hopkins and Mary MacDougall from Eora. Their first album arrived on Horn of Plenty in 2022, with sparse folk compositions and field recordings that would’ve been typical Altered States fare. Their new LP is also coming out in the UK though. Petals is out today, November 22, on the same label and it’s packed with 12 beautiful compositions that’ll no doubt make the oncoming cold feel more bearable.
