I also very much enjoyed dancing to Polygonia’s set at Dekmantel this year. Back in 2022 she began a collaboration with American composer and sound artist Rrose that has now reached fruition, with an album called Dermatology. This 6-track LP came out on Rrose’s label Eaux in September and is a listening experience that is as deep as it is danceable. Individually, they were both fans of the other’s music, even before having had any contact. This record sounds like the work of musicians who share a strong bond.
