Container is the musical vehicle of Ren Schofield from the US, currently based in London. He’s been going for many many years, but I first heard about the project after the 2020 album on Alter. And later fell in love with the contribution to a Public System compilation. Now Container is back on local London label Alter with a new album. Yacker came out back in spring, but works equally well as autumn listening. These 10 tracks continue in the dirty electronic sound Schofield has created for himself, with percussion that feels very much like live drums.
