We featured Patrick Cowley in 80s HITS a couple of years ago and Dark Entries continue to champion the legacy of the gay disco legend. This time with a set of covers of 60s tracks called From Behind. The 7-track LP was released on October 19 and includes version of classics like ”Pushing Too Hard” by The Seeds and ”I Had Too Much To Dream (Last Night)” by The Electric Prunes. They were recorded between 1980 and his untimely death in 1982. Cowley had come to San Francisco in the 60s as a ”tripped-out teenage music freak” as the label puts it and it’s cool to see him returning to those influences.
