Beatrix is a new project based between Brussels and Amsterdam, named after a certain queen. The members Megan Bruinen, Anna-Fleuri Wolters and Winnie Conradi released their first EP in May. It’s a self-titled cassette available from Belgian label Kontakt Group (who also put out the great De Nooit Moede record). On these 5 tracks mastered by Mikey Young they impress us with experimental post-punk and contorted rhythms. The artwork by Ran De Vos is stunning too.
