A third shoegazey record out this month is the debut LP from Spiral XP. The Seattle group have been going since the pandemic, releasing a string of great EPs and later this week I Wish I Was a Rat is coming out via Danger Collective. It’s got nothing to do with the rat girl trend but everything to do with early 90s sound of not only Washington state but also the UK, something local groups like Supercrush and Star Party have also mined.
