I don’t really know a great deal about The States other than the fact that guitarist Joe Imfeld also plays in The Prize and earlier in Mr. Teenage. The new project is yet another power pop group with impeccable songwriting skills – as can be heard on their first single ”Carol”. The group is fronted by Scarlett Maloney on vocals and guitar. The debut came out just last month so I hope there’s plenty in store for them in the future.
