Another label who has been known to issue cryptic aliases for its artists is Danish label Amniote Editions, who are turning 5 this year. They’re celebrating that with the release of a new compilation called Ecdysis a month from now. The artists on the roster have been invited to remix a track from the back catalogue – resulting in 12 new tracks for this digital release.
Intellegama (Hasvat Informant) has a remix of Sisilisko, and one of his is remixed by Cloudy Ku who’s also Australian (and goes by Suzhen Bai). You get two different version of Hadone’s 2019 track “Skin Confessions” (released as Mehen).
Monophonik & Riva appeared on Amniote’s recent Mala Junta collab and take on Dina’s exquisite entry ”Willow” from that same record. Dina in turn remixes Spekki Webu (known here as Heliobolus). We also have Mac Delos and Hyperaktivist (as Alphaconda, pictured above) involved and entire list can be made long.
