Rock Candy is the duo of Kryssi Battalene of Mountain Movers and Emily Robb (aka Emily Roll) of XV and Lantern. Robb also plays in Astute Palate and Tyvek and is pictured above (sorry, couldn’t find an image of the both of them). The material that ended up o their first 45 called ”Swimming In” was recorded in Robb’s basement in Philly, referred to as Suddenly Studio, back in 2023. Both sides feel like excerpts from a long instrumental improvisation. The record came out on Rochester’s Carbon Records in July.
