Yearning is a Chicago label I haven’t come across before but they launched almost a year ago with an amazing compilation. The new one, called Yearning For Light, came out a couple of months ago. Just like the last one, this one presents the artist’s sonic interpretation of a specific word – this time ‘light’. Chicago peeps like Ariel Zetina (pictured), Conjunto Primitivo, Beth Sawlts and Wheelbite appear alongside other American producers like Miss Parker.
