Phosphorrgirl is an artist, producer and DJ who also works a lot with visuals. All I know is that she’s based in Maryland goes by the name Alys, having appeared on compilations from labels like the amazing Undernet and Curiosity Pill. She refers to her music as gaiapunk, which is also a visual aesthetic close to a kind of spiritual futurism. Recently, a lot of Phosphorrgirl music has appeared – including this album from July. Seagate is a self-released 9-track record that blends genres gracefully.
