Na’ama Zisser from London became the second artist to release on the new Paris label Orthodox in June. Her concept album From Behind the Door continues on the same high note on which Daniella Ljungsberg inaugurated the label. Zisser originally composed the music last year for a psychological horror anthology on BBC Radio 4, called Lusus. It’s about inner demons, modern-day fears and anxieties – much like Black Mirror. But rather than taking us on a sci-fi journey, Zisser’s music is hauntingly lofi.
