It’s no secret that I’m a huge nerd when it comes to underground 60s music, so you can imagine I was pleased to see that Groovie Records have created a reissue with garage girlgroup The Pussycats. Most likely from New York, like The Shangri-Las, they worked with the Kama Sutra label and only issued two 45s – released on Columbia and both of which have appeared on compilations like Girls In the Garage (Romulan Records). There was also a rare picture-sleeve EP version released in Portugal. And this is the one that has now been reissued.
