Here’s a new release from Glasgow’s Somewhere Press, this time a split between local artist Alliyah Enyo and Berlin-based Angel R. Angel R is a new alias of Florian T M Zeisig who just released an album on Stroom. The music has its foundation in a long performance for the Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop in 2022. Now reshaped into a 14-track LP, Selkie Reflections is a beautiful ambient record full of analogue sounds and voices. The selkie is a Celtic mythical creature that can shapeshift between seal and human.
