Hits is the project of Oakland-based Jennifer Weisberg, who has been making music for a decade – first releasing a split with Ruby Pins in 2014. Weisberg also played in Ruby Pins (together with ex-Grass Widow member Lillian), as did Brian Tester who is on drums. The trio is rounded out by Max Nordile. Following a 2020 album for Paisley Shirt, they’re now back on the San Francisco label with World of Dirt – an 8-track LP also recorded in 2020. It’s coming out next month but you can check out the video for ”1-5-8” below.
