We’ve been following Naarm group Gut Health for the past two years and it’s great to see they’ll finally be releasing their debut album in October. It’s the zine-turned label Highly Contagious who are putting out the 10-track LP. The latest single ”Cool Moderator” appeared yesterday and four of the other tracks have also been released as singles 2023-24. Their sound is quite unique for an Australian band, being more reminiscent of Gustaf or perhaps Lithics. They just toured Europe, a tour which sadly didn’t take them all the way up north.
