Previously known as just Varnrable, the Copenhagen-based artist Nova Varnrable released a new album called Passages last week. It’s the first record from Madeira label Labareda in five years and this beautiful cassette consists of a long 30-minute mixtape on the a-side and several shorter reworkings on the other side. These include a couple of remixes from Polido and Ondness. The music spans a wide variety of sounds, mostly spacious and ambient but also percussive and noisy.
