Tristwch y Fenywod is one of the most hyped goth-inspired releases of the year. The trio includes Sydney Koke who once played in Canadian groups like Shearing Pinx and The Courtneys, but is based in Leeds where the other members Layla Legard and Gretchen Aury are from. The new project (which means The Sadness of Women in Welsh) is completely different from any previous projects, mixing neofolk and goth with a queer perspective.
The selftitled 8-track LP is out on Night School next month but has been sold out for a while.
