The other big announcement today was also from a French producer, namely Jennifer Parienté who makes music as Vel. In 2022 her Era L 12” came out, and she said last year that she left her job to focus on music. She’s since been appearing more as a DJ, but also as a producer on great compilations. But in September her first album is going to come out on Mama Told Ya, we don’t know much more yet but you can hear the first single ”BPM Anxiety” below. It’ll be the debut album from the Paris-based Vel, more news to follow.
