We wrote about Caroline Kaye Walters who was in Nocturnal Emissions three years ago. Back then Mannequin had released her song ”Mirrorball” under her Caroline K moniker. Originally recorded as a demo in 1983, it had never been released before. Her only actual release was the mini-album Now Wait For Last Year from 1987.
This LP is finally being reissued by Mannequin next month – the 5 tracks augmented by 4 digital bonuses, one of which is ”Don’t Believe It’s Over”. This is another 1983 demo that first appeared on the label as a 12” in 2019.
Now Wait For Last Year was originally released on Nocturnal Emission’s own label Earthly Delights. It has been reissued before, most notable by Blackest Ever Black in 2016. But this new release has been remastered by Nigel Ayers (of Nocturnal Emissions) in 2020 and hopefully will stay in print for a while.
