Vienna-based producer Alpha Tracks (real name Felix Benedikt) has had an eventful past 12 months. Starting last June, they’ve released a record every month. Having now come full circle with May, it remains to be seen whether the project will continue. I think Alpha Tracks turned a lot of heads with the excellent 12” on Ute from 2022. At least a lot of talented remixers have appeared on these new EPs, with May including not one but five remixes from Transki. On past releases producers like Egregore, Matriark and Dina have contributed.
