Is it a coincidence that brothers George and Harrison of Naarm group Super-X share an amalgamated name with the late Beatles member? They’re clearly influenced by late 60s psychedelic music and later protagonists of acid-inspired groups like Can and Spacemen 3. On their second album Paradise – out now via the label initiated by the much-loved venue and studio Cactus Room – they take cues from everyone from Neu! to Loop across 9 tracks that together form a strong artistic vision.
