Leaf Miner is the solo project of Alex Furrh from Chicago. He also plays bass in Cancer House, an experimental folk group who just released their first 7” lathe on new label Entombed In Autumn. (That band also features Whitney Johnson aka Matchess.) It’s always nice to see continuity between eras, since Johnson worked a lot with old Chicago label Trouble In Mind.
But Leaf Miner is now on the new Kino Disk label, releasing a new 10” dubplate called “Remnant, Remains” in February. The a-side is taken from their 2021 album.
