Earth Tongue is an Auckland duo that are actually coming to Copenhagen to play in a couple of weeks. While I’m not generally excited about this kind of music, Gussie and Ezra do it real well on second album Great Haunting coming out in June via trustworthy In the Red. Their debut from 2019 still holds up well.
I love seeing they cut the tracks on K Road, which I’ve walked up and down so many times and equally great to see that Izzie Austin took the photo on the cover. Love her work still. Oh, Gussie also plays in Mermaidens, whom you might’ve heard.
