We recently wrote about Eden Atiya’s band Cattivo, but she has also been in another band (based in Jerusalem) for a few years. That is the trio called Rasco, who put out a great album back in 2021. They’ve since been picked up by London label Batov (also home to Liraz, Sababa 5, Wax Machine etc.)
In May their second LP Dmaot will be out, with 11 tracks of surf and garage. Their first album opened with a cover of ”Interstellar Overdrive” and the video for new single ”Layla” actually looks like it could be lost footage from Tonite Lets All Make Love in London (1967).
