Slowfoam is the alias of Berlin-based artist Madelyn Byrd. They visited Sweden recently for a performance at the Scaling event series and did a guest show at Retreat Radio. Today their new album Transcorporeal Portal is coming out on Glasgow label Somewhere Press. It’s a watery collection of 10 tracks full of warm ambient sounds and field recordings. Or music at the intersection of hydrofeminism and neuroaesthetics, as the label describes it.
The LP is exclusively available through Boomkat. It comes beautifully packed with some amazing cover art and inserts.
