Pure Shit is a project that started as a full band in Los Angeles over a decade ago. Vocalist Alexandria Sloate has now taken over on saxophone and they’ve been reduced to the duo her and bass player Francisco Marin. After releasing a two-part live recording a year ago, they’re now working with Post Present Medium for a cassette release of the Reality Check EP. This experimental 6-track tape came out a couple of weeks ago and has an eerie-looking AI image on the cover.
