Taru is the alias of Milan-based Ruggero Lambo and his brand new tape on Mule Driver’s label Confused Machines is a pleasant surprise. Ipnagogik is a 6-track mini-album with a minimal take on electro, and an impressive hardware-driven sound. It was followed in February by a digital EP on Ecuador label Caracteres, titled Dune. This one is more ambient and the label describes it as: “the gray of metal, cement and the cold green of an unnatural water permeate his sonic canvas”.
