Somewhere Press is an exciting new label from Glasgow who are queering notions of experimental music and print. They continue in an important tradition of places like Good Press and Volcanic Tongue but remain very much unique in their focus on music on the borders to sound art. Their first compilation The Blue Hour came out last autumn as a small booklet in an edition of 40 as well as a cassette holding 10 tracks. Some of the artists involved were Astrid Øster Mortensen, Mondlane and Slowfoam.
Sadly the second pressing is also sold out, but there are new things coming soon.
Knekelhuis just shared a new mix created for them by Somewhere Press.
