One of the first releases of the year from London’s Static Shock label is this straight up punk masterpiece from Ataque Zero. Ciudades is a 5-track 7″ and an excellent follow-up to their debut from three years ago. The four-piece is from Bogota and I’m surprised that La vida es un mus didn’t snag these guys first. I love that Christine Björk from Only the Lonely is credited with ‘band photography’ on the sleeve – it’s a small world, right.
