Sometimes it pays off to check your emails. If I had, I’d known about Sydney-based artist Hubcaps several months ago when their debut album Singing & Songing came out. Hubcaps is Ella Mosley who makes experimental pop with a sound that is as homegrown as it is strangely alien, just like Hana Vu or Carla dal Forno. The 9-track LP is available from Dinosaur City on reused leftover vinyl.
