It turned out we right to hold out on the release of Drahla’s new single “Lip Sync” last year. Now it appears to be the first material you got to hear from their upcoming, new album Angeltape. The 10-track LP actually reaches as the way back to “Under the Glass”, which we included on our monthly playlist back in 2022. They’re returning to their original home on Captured Tracks for this release and while the label doesn’t carry the same weight it used to, Useless Coordinates is still one of those records that turns a few heads every time you play it.
The Leeds-based group is one of the bands I’m most looking forward to seeing at Grauzone in a couple of weeks. But fear not, they’re heading out on a long European tour later in the spring.
