We haven’t heard from Berlin post-punk group AUS for a while now, so this new release on Static Age is most welcome. Der Schöne Schein is a 3-track EP and the title-track will bring to mind late 70s groups like Delta 5 and Essential Logic. These songs were recorded by Tobias Lill and T-Rex about a year ago with new drummer Jana De Jonge. The rest of the band still includes Liv (Die Letzten Ecken), Miri and Anne-Sophie (also in Liiek and Benzin). Great cover art as usual from Billo.
